Jovialities

Jovialities
mixed media on canvas
14 x 14 inch

This new painting along with many others was just delivered to Tessera Gallery here in Wichita.  A happy painting to go with a happy mood on the day I painted it not long ago.

I wish ALL days were like that...for everyone.  Don't you?

Thank you for visiting!

  1. This is a really neat still life - particularly love the pattern areas mixed with textural brush stroke. Good you had a happy daya. Hope many more -flowing into each other.
    You deserve them

    1. Thank you Julie. I really appreciate that.

The pattern areas are torn pieces of scrapbook paper showing through. Just a little bit of Windex or rubbing alcohol and the acrylic paint comes right off.

    1. Hi Donna and thank you. I have always loved interior paintings where there is art hanging in the room and I love to also do this whenever it fits into the work.
